Educational model WP2
The goal of Workpackage 2 is to develop an educational model to be used developing learning material in teams (across borders)in regular VET or HE institutes. The output of this workpackage gives structure in the development of the workpackage Supporting ICT tools. In this educational model different elements of the process of developing learning materials in teams will be integrated:
- the appropriate didactic model for developing learning materials (with the latest didactic insights) containing the various elements: objectives, learning contents, learning activities, role of the teacher, learning resources/materials, group form,
learning environment, time indication, testing, other criteria such as: costs, practice tested, etc.
- the structure and the elements of a model for the efficient cooperation of teachers for developing learning material (including project management and process management);
- definition guidelines for joint authoring of learning material including copyright;
- quality control and evaluation of the learning material.

Inventory
We have executed an inventory of the most important elements/topics within the Cultural Creative Industry (CCI) with a focus on the communication sector that are eligible for the development/authoring of new/advanced learning materials. Working in teams, across borders instead of on an individual level by a teacher, developing and authoring learning material can increase efficiency and effectiveness. The educational model gives structure to the development process, the cooperation, the organization of the development process and the social interaction within it. This increases (the chance of) the success of the collaboration when developing in teams. Educational institutes will save (financial) resources because they can make use of the group qualities of the development team whereby time and money can be saved, a greater wealth of ideas is present and the quality can be higher than with individual performance.
